Antisemitism on Campus: An Insider’s Look

Antisemitism on Campus With Andrew Getraer

Antisemitism on Campus: An Insider’s Look picture

90% of university-age American Jews attend college, making campus antisemitism a central issue for the American Jewish community. Andrew Getraer was executive director of Rutgers Hillel, the largest Hillel in America, for 20 years. In that time Rutgers was both one of the most embattled campuses in the country and one of the most successful in combating anti-Jewish activity. Mr. Getraer will engage in a frank and open discussion of the perceptions, realities, challenges, and opportunities we face today.

Mr. Getraer was Executive Director of Hillel at Rutgers University from 2001-2021, serving the largest Jewish undergraduate population in the US. Under his leadership Rutgers Hillel was transformed into one of the most successful Hillels in the country, increasing revenues and student engagement by over 500%, and building a new, state-of-the-art 40,000 SF facility, the largest in the country.
We hope you will join us for a compelling discussion on this pervasive issue that affects our young adults and all of us.
